this place is a workshop

A little glimpse into the production going on in my studio lately. Greeting cards, some signage done with a dip pen, and a few modifications of my rocking chair illustration. Despite all of the ways I tried to improve that original line drawing, I still like the first one the best.

The last week or so I’ve also been refinishing a table that Michael and I found at a flea market at the Elmwood Festival of the Arts. We loved the slate on top, but decided to stain it with a dark ebony finish. I am very very happy with the way it turned out, considering the number of hours I spent sanding that piece!

    These cards are terrific Kel!

  2. Where did you get the plastic for your cards?… I looked like a mad woman last year and never found what I was looking for.
