A lot has been happening around here in cincinnati. Changes in the weather, in ages, in plans for the future. I have a lot of projects going on, and all are a bit scattered. I find that I can’t settle on any way of working, and constantly jump between mediums. All I can do is continue to work on whatever strikes me at any given moment. therefore, my first piece of last week:
I like going back to a calligraphy piece every once in a while. I think it could eventually be the joining force between all of my creative ventures. I also started making these felt business card wallets. I really like them so far, and think I’ll begin exploring other ways of closing them besides a button.
And finally, a preliminary sketch for a painting that i hope to start tomorrow. Cute little Lauren. it will be a 24×30″ canvas, since i haven’t worked on a large scale portrait in a while. i’m excited, and think i’ll experiment with techniques and new materials some.
